About BBN

A free network, so no family searches for blood alone.

Bangladesh Blood Network connects people who need blood with voluntary donors nearby, and gives verified hospitals one place to ask on behalf of their patients.

Why BBN exists

When a patient needs blood, every hour counts.

Too often, finding a donor means social media posts, forwarded messages and long chains of phone calls, with personal numbers shared far and wide and no way to know whether help is on its way.

BBN replaces that with one calm flow: a request goes to matching donors close to the hospital, they answer yes or no, and the family sees exactly who is coming. Contact details move only between the people who need them.

What we believe

Four promises behind every screen.

Free, and non-commercial

No fees, no commissions, no premium tiers. Nobody pays, and nobody is paid, for blood.

Donating is a choice

Anyone can request without being a donor. Donors choose their distance, and can pause at any time.

Private by default

Phone numbers are never published, and pass to the other person only after an acceptance, with consent.

Honest about status

Notified, accepted and fulfilled are different steps, and every request shows the one it has really reached.

What BBN is not

Clear limits keep people safe.

A blood bank. BBN stores no blood and sells none.

An emergency service. In an emergency, contact the hospital directly.

Medical clearance. Screening at the facility decides who can donate.

Run as a public service by Falcon IT.
