Blood, when it matters,
from people nearby.
Everyone can request. Anyone eligible can donate. BBN connects people who need blood with nearby voluntary donors, and lets hospitals request for their patients. One account, free, for everyone.

How it works
From a request to a donor, in four honest steps.
- 01
Request
Anyone with an account asks for blood, for themselves or someone else. Hospitals ask for their patients.
- 02
Match and notify
BBN finds nearby donors whose group may suit, and widens the search in waves if nobody answers.
- 03
Coordinate
Donors accept or decline. Contact details pass only to donors who accept, and only with consent.
- 04
Track honestly
Notified, accepted and fulfilled are separate steps, and every request shows which one it has reached.
Need blood?
Request for yourself or someone you love. You never need to be a donor to ask.
- Nearby matching donors are notified
- See exactly who accepted, and call them
- Edit, cancel or reopen at any time
Want to donate?
Register once. We only ask when someone nearby needs your blood group, and the choice is always yours.
- Invitations within the distance you choose
- Share your number only if you accept
- Pause whenever you need to
For hospitals
A workspace so families never search alone.
Verified hospitals create patient requests, follow donor responses and record outcomes, from one shared view for their team.
Every hospital is reviewed by the BBN team before its workspace opens.
Staff are invited by their own hospital administrator.
A hospital only ever sees its own requests and patients.

BBN is not an emergency medical service.
If someone needs immediate clinical help, contact the hospital or emergency services directly. BBN helps find voluntary donors, but cannot guarantee that blood will be available.
